My name is Kelly, and on February 7, 2014, I was officially diagnosed with celiac (or coeliac) disease. I am grateful to have an answer to weeks of severe illness, and in retrospect, years of unnecessary health problems, but I am in shock at the lifestyle change this will be for me and my family.

I am lucky to be diagnosed in an era when the disease has become more well known and understood, and therefore there are a lot of resources out there for me. But there is more to coping with a celiac disease diagnosis then collecting recipes and throwing out the bread.

I will use this blog as an outlet for this transition, and hopefully one day, I can help someone else with their own transition. Wish me luck!
